Dr. Lam and the team have been amazing . They do a very thorough intake and assessment. For the first time, despite having been to other chiro and physio, I have a treatment plan that is addressing the root causes of discomfort in my body and my posture. They take the time to listen and adapt your treatment as needed and provide home care options that they walk you through. Front desk is always on top of things and is quick to follow up with any questions or appointment bookings. With the use of a detailed assessment, science based approaches and in house x-ray Dr. Lam found a chronic issue that 5-7 other physiotherapists, chiropractors and doctors failed to diagnose. In clinic, there is a multidisciplinary team that makes treatment much more easily streamlined. Further, all staff from front desk to Chiropractor are excellent at making a welcoming professional environment. New tools such as Jane app for scheduling allow customers to sync appointments directly into phone calendars as well as send texts ahead of appointments for reminders. "This clinic takes a thoughtful, science-based approach to Chiropractic care, a different experience from what I have had in the past. My initial assessment was not rushed and included careful analysis and two-way discussion, including x-rays. Dr Lam took the time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and shared information in a way that was easy to understand. The clinic staff are professional and courteous and provide excellent patient service. AMAZING. I have had neck pain for over 25 years. I have done Chiro, physio, massage, IMS, cupping and acupuncture with limited relief but it never went away. As a team, including the physiotherapist I met and the impressively welcoming and kind administration staff members, Cedar Hill Sports Therapy offers a great environment to feel safe and heal. Especially Dr. Jerry Lam’s extremely skilled insights and analysis on what exactly causes the issues has been the highlight for me, and with the right diagnosis, analysis and plans he creates, he offers the step-by-step healing process. I came to see Dr. Jerry Lam when tingling started and increased each day from burnout. Through Xray and the analysis, he discovered what could be the physical part of the issue, and made the plans which include home exercises with some purchased equipments. I think both the treatments at the Clinic and the home exercises with the equipments made the breakthrough right away for me, and I recovered not only from the spiritual aspect of burnout but also the physical part - significantly less or almost no tingling and numbness only after just a few treatments and exercises. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this clinic and the team! My life has changed significantly over the last 3 months thanks to Dr. Lam at Better Back Clinic. My back pain has improved tenfold through decompression therapies and prescribed home exercises. Dr.Lam has communicated the pathology of my symptoms in easy to understand ways, and kept up on my progress weekly.

I came to the clinic for persistent neck and shoulder pain and frequent migraines. I have had these concerns for years and have tried other treatment; none of it seemed to make any lasting changes. Since coming to the clinic, the pain has melted away and I have not had any of my previous migraines. The team at BetterBack is amazing. The chiropractors are skilled and explain every step of what they are doing. The receptionists are kind and caring and I feel very welcome in this space. I would highly recommend anyone to this clinic.

I had horrible shoulder pain and experienced migraines almost daily. I’ve been seeing Dr. Lam and his team for the past month. With a customized treatment plan that includes adjustments, traction, and at-home exercises, I no longer have migraines and have reduced shoulder pain. I also found out that I have scoliosis. Dr. Lam has excellent bedside manner and keeps me well informed. :)

Dr. Lam is my most trusted Chiro. I've worked with them on and off (as life gets busy) for several years. He is truly devoted to his craft and doesn't sell unneeded things. I'm a forever client of Dr. Lam's for when I need Chiro.

From the examination, treatment process, exercises, and home care, he shared information through out the process. I came in about a month ago with back pain that was making it almost impossible to work with. Dr. Lam did X-rays of my back and found out that I have kyphosis. I have been doing traction treatments for the last month and my pain has gone from a constant 6/10 to almost no pain most days. For anyone dealing with back pain I cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been going to this clinic for over 2 years now and have had nothing but the best treatment. Dr. Jerry Lam has been incredible and always takes the time to walk through what may be causing pain/discomfort, how to continue recovery after the treatment, and ways to prevent it in the future. He always takes his time and makes sure to address all of my concerns (frequent sports injuries).

I’m so glad I found Cedar Hill Sports Therapy. At my first consultation, Dr. Lam really listened to what I was experiencing, took X-rays, and gathered posture images so we had real data to work with. He was able to clearly show me what was happening with my spine and explain what was causing my discomfort.

Since I only had two months before leaving on a big trip, Dr. Lam fast-tracked a treatment plan to help me get results before I left. I went in twice a week, and I started noticing improvements pretty quickly. He also taught me valuable exercises I could do on my own and prescribed a special block for me to use at home, which gave me a way to continue working on my progress between appointments.

I also want to mention how great the staff are. Shout out to Stewart, Debbie, and Rebecca! Everyone has been friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

At the end of the two months, Dr. Lam repeated the same X-rays and posture images we started with and showed me the incredible progress. It was really reassuring to see actual images and measurements showing the improvement in my spine, rather than just relying on how I felt.
